My name is Jim Steel. I am the Branch/Sales Manager of the Brooklyn Park Marketplace Home Mortgage location. I have a four-year degree from the St. Cloud State University Business School with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and Investments. I have been in the business since graduating from college in 1999. 

My mortgage company, Marketplace Home Mortgage, is a local company that lends in Minnesota and surrounding states. We have all the programs available with great rates that are offered to us because of the amount of volume Marketplace Home Mortgage does locally. We offer all loan programs, which include Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo and First-Time Homebuyer loans.  

Previously I was also a licensed Real Estate agent. I still remain very knowledgeable about the market and this helps when reviewing appraisals and choosing certain loan programs for my home buyer clients. 

I pride myself on top notch customer service, that along with being able to save my customers thousands of dollars are two of the reasons my business is based solely on referrals from previous clients, which I believe is the number one compliment to how well your work was done.
